Now, regarding all those numbers- do you intend to make use of them all?

No, not at all. But it's flattering.

Fascinating. Human courtship is one of the most perplexing parts of your species. I don't know if I will ever understand it.

Of course you won't. Humans don't understand it completely either.

Then I can be better accept my ignorance, though it does remain engrossing. The human mind is a mystery, and I am by nature a solver of mysteries.

So they say - but what of the martian mind? Was martian romance so very different?

Very, as far as I can tell. We were all shapeshifters. Physical attraction as humans understand it was thus unknown to us. On the other hand, we could share our thoughts and feelings more easily than humans can share words- we could know, unequivocally, if someone would complete us. We had what we called the Great Voice, the presence of so many minds together. And sometimes, those voices would become poetry when put together.

Humans seem more to involve more guesswork.

It sounds...really wonderful.

Other than as a text to you? No.

As someone who understands losing everything...keeping memory alive is important, and I'm glad you do that. But do you think it would honor them, to make sure their story is preserved?
